Frequently asked questions

How do I take a screenshot on Windows?

Press Win+Shift+S, select an area, then paste here with Ctrl+V.

How do I take a screenshot on a Mac?

Press ⌘+Ctrl+Shift+4 to copy an area to the clipboard, then paste here with ⌘+V.

Is screen capture recorded or sent anywhere?

No. A single frame is grabbed in your browser and the capture stops immediately.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
