Supported formats

Frequently asked questions
Why is the width set to 0?
Zero means “work it out for me”, so the width follows from the height and aspect ratio.
Can I set both width and height?
Yes — use Resize to Exact Dimensions or turn off the ratio lock.
Does it work for portrait and landscape images?
Yes. Each image keeps its own shape; only the height is fixed.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
