About this tool

Frequently asked questions
Is this AI upscaling?
No. It uses standard interpolation and sharpening. AI upscalers can synthesize plausible detail; this tool does not, and we don't claim it does.
Why is my enlarged image still soft?
Enlarging can't add detail. Try a higher sharpening amount, or start from the highest-resolution original you have.
What's the largest output I can get?
That depends on your device's memory. Results above roughly 100 megapixels are refused.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
