Frequently asked questions
What size should my source image be?
At least 512×512 pixels and square. SVG logos are drawn at high resolution automatically.
Do all browsers support this ICO?
Yes. The ICO embeds PNG images, which all current browsers and operating systems support.
Where do I put the files?
In your site's root folder (or the public folder in most frameworks), then add the HTML snippet to your page head.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
