Frequently asked questions
Why does the filled area look smeared?
The person covered a large, detailed part of the background. Remove them in smaller sections, starting from the edges.
Can it remove a person automatically?
You choose what to remove by painting it, which keeps you in control and needs no AI download.
Will the rest of my photo change?
No. Only the area you painted is replaced.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
