Frequently asked questions
How do I make an Instagram carousel from one image?
Choose 3×1, then post the numbered tiles in order. For best quality start with an image whose width is at least 3240 px (three tiles of 1080 px).
Will the tiles be the same size?
Tiles differ by at most one pixel when the image doesn't divide evenly.
Can I split into unequal parts?
This tool makes an even grid. For custom cuts, use the crop tool in the full editor.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
