Can I choose which part of the image to keep?
This bulk tool always crops from the center. For manual placement use the crop tool in the full editor.
Does cropping change the image quality?
Pixels inside the crop are unchanged. The file is re-encoded, so lossy formats apply their usual compression; choose PNG for lossless output.
Which ratio should I use for social media?
1:1 or 4:5 for Instagram feed posts, 9:16 for stories and reels, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and most video.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
