Frequently asked questions
Will my images be stretched?
Not in “fit within” or percentage modes. Exact mode stretches only if you turn off the aspect-ratio lock.
Can I resize hundreds of photos?
Yes. Processing is spread across workers; very large batches just take longer.
Are small images enlarged?
Not unless you enable “Allow enlarging small images”.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
