Frequently asked questions

How do I make an Instagram grid post?

Slice into 3 columns (and 1–3 rows), then post the tiles from last to first.

Are the tiles the same size?

Yes, as equal as the pixel count allows; leftover pixels go to the last row or column.

What format are the tiles?

PNG, JPG or WebP — your choice.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
