Everything you need, nothing you don't

A serious editor with the speed of a simple tool — and none of the account walls.

Real layers, non-destructive edits

Images, text, shapes and drawings with blend modes and opacity. Adjustments and filters never touch your original pixels.

Private by design

Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. No accounts, no database, no image storage.

Fast on big images

Heavy work runs in Web Workers. Previews render at reduced size while you drag; full quality applies when you let go.

Batch tools with ZIP download

Compress, resize, convert, crop, watermark or filter dozens of images at once with live progress.

Made for touch, too

Bottom toolbar, sheets, pinch-to-zoom, two-finger pan and double-tap zoom make phone editing comfortable.

Install it, use it offline

Add Picut to your home screen or desktop. After the first load it keeps working without a connection.

From image to result in three steps

  1. 1

    Drop an image

Drag it in, paste from your clipboard, or pick a file. It opens instantly — nothing is uploaded.

  2. 2

    Edit or use a tool

Crop, adjust, add text and shapes in the editor, or run a quick tool like compress, resize or convert.

  3. 3

    Download the result

Export PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, or grab a whole batch as a ZIP. Metadata is stripped automatically.

Privacy, enforced

Your images stay on your device

Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. There is no account, no database and no server-side image storage. The site's security policy only allows the page to talk to its own origin, so a file can't be sent elsewhere even by mistake.

How privacy works

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free, with no sign-up?

Yes. There are no accounts, no paywalls and no watermarks. Open the editor and start.

Where do my images go?

Nowhere. Images are decoded and edited by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. They are not uploaded, and there is no server-side storage. The Privacy page explains exactly what is stored locally.

Which image formats can I open and export?

You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, AVIF and BMP, plus TIFF and HEIC where your browser can decode them. You can export PNG, JPG, WebP and PDF, and AVIF in browsers that can encode it.

Can I save my work and continue later?

Yes. Save your project as a .editor-project file, then open it again any time. It contains your layers and settings and is stored only where you save it.

Does it work offline?

Once loaded, yes. The app is cached by a service worker, so the editor and tools keep working without a connection.

Ready to edit? It takes one drop.
