Can it change my background to white?
No. Photograph yourself against a plain white or light background, then use this tool to size the picture.

At 300 DPI it is 413×531 pixels. The tool calculates this for every size and resolution.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
