Frequently asked questions
Can I remove a green screen?
Yes, if it's evenly lit. Pick “Auto” or choose the green yourself and increase the tolerance until the screen disappears.
What format keeps transparency?
PNG or WebP. JPG can't store transparency, so removed areas become white.
Why does part of my subject disappear?
Its color is close to the background. Lower the tolerance or keep “Only remove background touching the edges” on.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
