Compress Image to 100KB Online
Many websites cap uploads at 100 KB — a frequent limit for profile pictures, ID uploads and job portals. This tool re-encodes your photo as a JPG and searches for the highest quality that still fits under 100 KB, so the picture stays as sharp as the limit allows.

Frequently asked questions
How do I reduce an image to 100 KB?
Add the image, leave the target at 100 KB and press Process. The tool lowers JPG quality just enough to fit. If it can't be reached, reduce the maximum width and try again.
Why is my result larger than 100 KB?
Very large or highly detailed photos may not fit at their original dimensions. Set a smaller maximum width (for example 1200 px) and process again.
Will the image look worse?
Some quality loss is unavoidable when meeting a small size limit, but the tool keeps quality as high as the limit allows.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser using the canvas API and Web Workers. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no account or storage. Closing the tab discards everything.
